One of the most attraction point of Android ecosystem is the ability to customize the look and feel as well as capability that user feel better for him/her. And, that’s why there are so many ROMs, hacks, MODs and tweaks are there to extend or customize your Android experience. To achieve all this ability one tool looks always tall is ClockworkMod recovery. CWM recovery is a custom recovery that not only allow you to install ROMs, MODs and other hack but also comes with several system oriented function that stock recovery don’t have. In this article we will guide you to install ClockworkMod Recovery 6.0.2.5 (touch or non-touch) in Galaxy S3, model number I9300 or I9305. For this, we will use a tool called ODIN that will help us to flash the ClockworkMod Recovery 6.0.2.5 in Galaxy S3. However, in this process you may lose all your existing installed apps and personal settings. You should follow this guide carefully to properly backup your data that you can restore later.

Pre Requisites:

SMS & Call Log – 

Use SMS, MMS & Call Log Entries Backup & Restore App

Contacts & Settings – 

Use Android default backup options.

Images, Songs, Videos, Files – Copy to Internal/External SD card.

APN and MMS Settings – Note down from the path “Applications > Settings > Wireless and Network > Mobile Networks > Access Point Names

  1. Make sure your device have at least 80% battery power.
